They've earned more respect from me than they already had, because losing (arguably) their #1 rider just before a new season starts has to be a really hard hit. Especially since they're still a small fish in the ski industry, it would be really hard NOT to be bitter about it, but dealing with it with professionalism like this is really good to see. Props to Coreupt
 
That's exactly the situation I was thinking of actually... it's a pretty similar situation and nobody has yet to flip shit over it

man, I though this company was going to kill when they first hit the mainstream. Yhey gobbled up the illest riders and made a really good name for themselves. Now the toilet is flushing, and they seem to have gotten stuck, loike a massive shit-turd.

And Candide would be any company's number one rider. Nice to see them handle this classy, interested to see what they'll do with TJ's pro model, rename it or give it to another rider?
 
I don't understand you guys! (no offence hollygrove just using you as a reference)Everyones started panicing and flapping that coreupt are going down hill and they suck because they have lost a couple of park riders, whats the big deal? They still have arguably the most marketable and sick skier on the planet on their team, if that really bothers you? Seems like most people on here buy their skis because they want to ski the same ski as the guy in there favourite level 1 section rather than giving a shit how the ski actually skis, and by the way, I have skied a couple of the core upts and they were all sick, i just wish i could afford a pair of Richard Permins because i think it might have been the sickest pair I have ever skied.
 
Thats the only thing they have/had going for them-- super ill team. Small fish ski companies will at least press skis themselves and not in a dynastar factory. No control over the quality. Such a front. No core ski shops sell them because they immediately sold direct from their website...so no stoke there. Wouldn't be surprised if they started making ski blades
 
I'm not talking about the recent loss of athlete's, I'm talking about the foundations of the brand. I don't get why they started up, what niche in the ski industry were they filling? Does skiing need another big brand whose team is filled with a bunch of park jocks (albeit candide)? Furthur more, they don't even sell their skis through a retailer. That's fucking weird, how can kids get pumped on a pair of skis if they can't even touch them? To back up this point, how many shitty threads do you see in gear talk asking if they should get a pair of coreupts vs. afterbangs vs. walls? None! I think they kind of blew it as a brand from the beginning.
 
I heard (complete hearsay) they're doing a lot better in Europe than in North America. Not surprising with shipping costs and considering they're based in the French Alps. I'd be interested to see some sales figures.
 
There is a small place outside North America called Europe. Unsurprisingly then coreupt have a huge presence here, esp in france
 
those of you talking shit about coreupt quite literally have no idea what you're talking about. in europe coreupt is EVERYWHERE and the european ski market is a shitload bigger than the north american one.

if anyone has doubts about the quality of their skis... THEY ARE NOT REBRANDED DYNASTARS. one season they did that for, pretty smart way of getting the product onto the market. now they make fucking sick skis for prices significantly lower than their competition.

know some facts before you talk shit. coreUPT= guerlain, candide= LEGIT AS FUCK

funnelling some loose ends from a brief jaunt in a columbian bam bam smuggling opportunity is what i think.
 
I think candide and tj were like a tie. but candide destroyed tj in the pipe. Props to corupt cause i would have smacked a hoe.
