Apparently they stepped in to prevent the Utah Avalanche Center from shutting down before the end of the season due to lack of budget.

I have nothing to do with backcountry.com, and have never been to utah, but that's the kind of thing that makes me get behind a company more than any advertising or sponsorship.

actually you are about two weeks late with the memo, the advisories are done even though we will hit 200" base today. but yes major props to bc.com for helping them get through a few extra weeks.
