The interwebz says that members of Rage Against the Machine, Cypress Hill, and Public Enemy will be forming a little band called Prophets of Rage.

Member line-up should be: Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, Brad Wilk, Chuck D, and B-Real.

Kinda bummed to hear that Zack de la Rocha is not involved, but I'm definitely stoked to see where this goes.

More info drops on June 1.

i fucking hate that de la rocha is such an asshole and definitely the least musically talented of the group, but without him rage just isn't rage :(

chuck d as a frontman might be interesting, but i'm not really a fan of him posting old rage vids to promote their new group though, kinda seems like they're piggybacking off of ratm fame pretty hard... curious to see if they'll have new material, or if they're just gonna cover old shit as some kind of partial reunion tour

They should do this and then do a fucking regular rage tour again.
