Prop 8 did not pass....

chapter one of some people's "history book", yes. to most logical minds, no.

excuse me for being uneducated, but are there any countries which extend full equal and legal marriage rights to both homo and hetero couples?

yes they are a minority. no they didnt CHOOSE to be gay.

we dont have to accept anything?

tell you what. i dont accept black people anymore, they should be my slave. same concept, just as wrong.

Canada, Norway, South Africa, Spain, and the Netherlands... in addition to Massachusetts and Conneticut.

except if im not mistaken, arent those rights in Mass and Connecticut voided when they cross the border into another state?

im pretty sure being gay is just the way you are, its a trait your born with so no they dont have that luxury of choice.

and for people saying that having a seperate but equal name isnt segregation take this example from my history homework. The Louisiana act stated that "all railway companies were to provide equal but seperate acommodations for white and black races". That sounds alot like what your saying and a hell of a lot like segregation. "seperate but equal" accomodations is segregation/

Ok, no one seemed to read my last post. But no one even noticed that the title of this thread is an Epic Fail.

For most of these sorts of purposes a common-law spouse is treated the same as an actual spouse. So if gay partners can be CL spouses, there should be little difference in that arena.
