Several prominent US Senators and mayors have been outed as members of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) and other racist groups by the hacktivist collective Anonymous, and the group hints that more politicians and public figures will be named in the near future.

Yeah... I don't know, most of the aggressive, feminist, liberal, PC, anti KKK (just listing those to be clear of where any bias may stand) journalists I know are pretty skeptical of this. It's an anonymous group making claims about people in power without (at this point) a ton of actual proof. That's a great way to seed confusion and strife but it's not proving anything.

It's not quite McCarthyism but it's a little too close for my liking.

We shall see though.

Googled and saw no major outlets reporting on this. Not sure if that's because it's bogus or because their hands are tied in political tape. Interesting nonetheless.

A lot of southern senators have loose affiliations, or attended a fundraiser that had a guy there that was in the KKK once. I mean, yeah its terrible but you can sensationalize about this stuff all day long if you want to. Odds are no one will loose their jobs and nothing will change.

IF it's true, then that's terrible. However, I don't know how reliable the source is so we can't really comment on it till it gets confirmed by a major media outlet.

The gay mayor of some city in Kentucky was on there. I am NOT saying gays can't be in the KKK but yes I am saying that gays are not in the KKK due to some ideological conflicts and this report is questionable.
