I was thinking the other day why there are more young skiers out htere that are going huge with style and bustin out then there are boarders. I came the the conclusion that i really think that skiers that like to ski, tend to be more obbsesced with it. Maybe its becasue everything on a snowboard has almost been done and there isnt any unknown out there thats driving the youth. I dont know, jsut kinda a thought i had

Believing that there is an end to the amount of tricks to be done in any disipline (Snowboarding, rolling, skiing) is when you will stop progressing, and kids snowboarding seem to love it in my opinion.

Yeah, there's always room to progress, usually its from borrowing from otehr sports etc Like snowboarding and skateboarding and surfing ....

With skiing however, we have 2 poles and 2 skis and 4 independant limbs that can do all kinds of stylie things in the air. It also means that skiers can look more out of control or on the edge than snowboarders (especially ina pipe) and crashes are way more spectacular (if not more damaging). Above all, new school skiing is just the next 'snowboarding' like snowboarding was the next skateboarding.

I wonder if mono booards will make a comeback when moms and pops can grease rails? haha.
