Programming tv remote

I forgot my tv remote at my fathers house. Found another that's the exact same. How do I program it to work on my tv.

It's a 32" LCD Samsung and it's relatively new.

Appreciate any help.

type the name of the universal remote brand/type into google. "programming xxxx universal remote." then find the "code" for the samsung tv you have. follow the instructions. done.

yes sir i did, mostly just got linked to places to buy replacement remotes and some referenced an owners manual which I don't have. I'm not positive what the tv model is though the remote is that one.
