hey guysim trying to figure out why i have such little room left on my computer. ive dumped as much as i can that i dont need on my external which is fine, but im looking for a program that i found here once that shows you (in a graph like figure) where most of your computer usage is coming from, ie file/program sizes. any ideas would be appreciated thanks to all

I assume your talking about your ram memory. if your running windows then you already have one installed. control-alt-del then task manager then click on the performance tab.

or on mac go to hard drive > applications > utilities > activity monitor, then hit window > activity monitor and HD usage should be a tab there.

im more looking for a program that will show me where the largest files on my computer are, as in, whats taking up the most memory. i know my music and photos take up a lot of room, but beyond that i dont know where it would be.
^is that a program that would do that?

disk inventory x
it tells you how much is being used where, gives you visual representation of it, and lets you open the folder/file in the finder so you can do with it as you like

If you're on a pc get ccleaner, look it up on google It's easy to find.. It removes so much junk and is just all round awesome.
