Mine hasn't let me load a picture directly onto my profile since a few days after I joined the site over two years ago.

What's hot? This is the computer industry, we play something out and stick with it..
 
It always says that the picture wasn't loaded because it has to be under 30kb and a jpg or gif image, but the photos I try to upload always ARE. Ah well. I just use the img src thing now instead.

if the pic is under 30k then make sure the pictures extension is jpg instead og JPG, sum image editing programs save them with the extension in caps, windows ignores the change in caps, but it wont work on here wit caps. if u cant see the extension just go to folder options in control panel and clik on folder options and clik on the 'view' tab and find the option that says 'hide extensions for known file types' inclik that and then go rename the file and have the extension with no caps, u mite want to change it bak to hiding the extensions afterwards coz it comes in handy

how do you change a bmp file to a gif?

 
load it into paint and clik save as, and under file types clik gif or jpeg, but u will need to rename the extension because it will be in caps for the upload to work
