I want to start doing weddings and parties and such as a buisness now and im completely new to this. several questions1) What is a good charge? I'm 15 so the likelyhood of being hired is slim but an estimate is good anyway

2) how soon do people want their videos after filming (day of)

As far as turnaround time goes, a lot of professionals try to make a same-day trailer for the wedding, but that's tough to do. But as far as the full video goes, maybe a couple weeks.

When I shot my first wedding, I was working with another filmer who I had never worked with before. Neither of us had done a wedding, and we had no clue how it would turn out. We charged $900, but looking back we could have definitely charged more had we known how the product was going to turn out. The couple even said that if they had known, they would have gladly paid more than that.
