Like a snowboard, but longer, so I can go backwards and do sick tricks like snowboarders do

mmmm memory foam wouldnt support your foot as custom footbeds do.

but for the moldable ski pole grips, that could be the next big thing...

I don't really think mouldable grips would make any difference really and would you all start buying poles that were probably $30-40 more just because of the grip.

What I want to see is a whole new take on park boots. There are some good options but if you look at all the development going on in the Backcountry boot market it makes me wonder just what could be done with park boots if the brands were willing to invest in the R&D

Gloves/ mittens that always keep your hands warm. Boots that allow your feet to never freeze.

Also we should be able to change weather patterns so we always have powder days.

Rideover waxing , like some rolls wich apply wax to your skis , dry it out and scrape shit off when riding over it

Goggles that don't have that annoying outline that blocks your peripheral vision

Get bigger goggles lol

And a lot of the stuff in this thread, actually most of the stuff already exists.

Hover skis. When you realize the grass gap in front of you is actually a half mile long just engage hover mode and slay it like a boss.

That and when mother nature decides to be a bitch and gives us no snow, activate hover= shredding with no snow

OP is gonna patent these ideas and screw over the people who conceptualized the ideas, LOL. But really though, a better version of the riders app where people can post other tricks to the app, and other members can give advice to people who post videos of them trying new tricks

Place them throughout the mountain to act as speed boosters = Mario Cart skiing.

It would be interesting if there was such a thing as a glove or mitten that had a porous, temperature sensitive membrane/layer. If it were very cold the 'pores' would close up to keep your hands as warm as possible, and in warmer temperatures the pores would open up to allow for more breathability. I'm always switching out gloves/mittens based on temps all season long, its a pain and its expensive needing different sets. It would be sweet to have one pair that adjusted themselves to the outside temperature.

That idea is so sick but I would think difficult because your body heat would keep the pores open. Sweet thinking though.

when making the pores factor in the added heat of your hand.

If the pores opened based on the outside temperature though....

An app for this site lol

If your on an IPhone, just hit the middle option and the. "Add to home screen". It allows for the normal NS layout on a phone.

Already done that and I'm on mobile currently. But still you can do everything on mobile like on the actual website. An app to make things run smoother and have all options available would be awesome.
