Product category forum?

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but a product forum where all of the different brands have their own boards (eg. http://www.snowboard-mag.com/forum/equipment) would be a lot more organized, and people could find what they're looking for a lot quicker.

It's a thought. However, right now I think things are fairly easy to find specific equipment info by going into the ski equipment forum or using the Search feature.
