Prodigy 1 + Marker Squire Binding Smash or Pass?

What year squires? The updated ones are allegedly much sturdier, any input from shop folks would be appreciated. We have a pair in the house but they are used by a skier not likely to break bindings.

Are you relatively small/lightweight?
 
If you're lightweight enough the Squire will be alright. It's not complete dogshit as previous iterations were but I would make sure its got Sole ID or a Gripwalk AFD.

Trying to find that out… it’s not described in the offer. I‘m 5‘9“ and weighing 140
 
Pass…you can find new prodigys on sale over summer for sub 300. And squires arent worth anything if you are 120+ or your skis leave the ground.
