Ok, know I alrdy posted this in Ski Gabber. But there were some diffrent explanations there so I think I want to here what Turpin or f.ray think about this too!

So last time I went skiing I decided to try step it up to bigger jumps.

So I tried to hit this jump on 40 ft. The transistion was steep and I

feel all this g-forces pushing me down, so I had a hard time staying in

control.

So next time I hit this jump I tried to do a 360. Struggled very much

to keep my balance on the transistion/jump, so I came a bit out of axis

and landed on my butt on the knuckle.

What way should I hit this jump without losing control?

well depending on how nasty it is you may want to get someone to fix it. If you cant get any on to do that. as in most cases your just going to have to adapt. If the jump is as we say G-ing you out you got to options. 1. take it on a bit of a side hill or carve this will make the jump just a hare longer
2. lift your self off the jump. try putting your hands by your sides and lift them up as if pumping trany and creating the shape of the jump with you hands out front. this help get you off the jump in a smother manner.
and as for hitting the knuckle well your justing going to have to go a bit faster or wax your skis one or the other not bolth. ANd CCCR

what is pumping trany and what does " take it on a bit of a side hill" means?

I'm from Norway, so don't understand these things ^^!

Pumping is basically as you go up the transition, push down with your knees...

for reference what american Pool skateboarders
