Pro- Deals for People who work in the industry.

Pro- Deals for People who work in the industry. Hi just wondering if anyone knows of any brands/ companies that offer Pro- Deals for Ski Instructors? Karma and Virtual love for the best responses thnx.

Most do. Start with your supervisor (they sometimes have the best connection/deal), otherwise email the company and ask.

Promotive hooks people in the ski industry up really well. Just fill out their form and include a picture of your most recent pay stub. Easy Peazy

If you are PSIA AASI there's an entire page full of pro deals. Log in and there's huge discounts, I got $300 bindings for $156.20

We offer discounts to people in the industry. Just email us proof of employment to info@momentskis.com

the 1st rule of the proform club is......

even though the first rule of being a psia mitten fetcher is tell everyone

Personally as a lifty/ maintenance guy I just contact them directly and ask them if they offer pro forms, or if there is any clearance gear that can be let go of for a cheaper deal. Usually companies are willing to work with your budget somewhat and understand how broke industry folks truly are. Pro motive is cool and all but you get what you get takes away the personality of it. What angle I would work is that as a lifty getting a larger than 35% discount in return I would offer them somewhat free advertising at the lifts low key. They get more sales you get gear cheaper. In the last 4 years ive yet to pay retail or anything under 35% off!

A lot of companies do. People have mentioned promotive which is really cool. There's so many companies on there willing to hook you up and the deals are really solid.

You can also just email companies and ask if they offer it. That's what I do a lot of the time.

This is more of a long shot, but shops may hook you up too. One of the shops around here works a lot with the hill I work at. So I was able to get some things through them. It's just one of those things where you gotta reach out to people!

what do you guys define as "industry"?

Ski instructor, ski patrol, tour guide, etc...

If you're unsure if your job counts as ski industry just send us an email about it and we'll see what we can do.

Generally looked at as people whose income come from working in the ski industry. As you can imagine, most brands an inundated with these requests, so make sure to have current proof of employment ready.

Rad stoked to hear that, thanks for the reply, I'll likely be retiring my '12 Bibbys at the end of this winter and eventually replacing them with another pair of Bibbys coz they are the best skis ever.

promotive is a good place to start but you also have to apply to a lot of companies individually. Try googling random companies names with prodeals and you can find out if you qualify/how to sign up.

Yes we do too! Email us at northamerica@factionskis.com or europe@factionskis.com depending on where you live, please include a proof of employment as well.

My favorite pro-deal portal is Outdoor Prolink. They're much more strict than Promotive or 3point5, but the deals are much more useful. I think they require you to work in a technical fashion (snowmaking, cat ops, patrol, guide versus just a liftie) but I could be wrong.

The best bet (like everyone else said) is just to email or call directly.

Amplid offers deals for industry peeps too, also park shapers, lifties... Anybody contributing towards other peoples' days in the mountains. Visit the "sponsorship" page on Amplid.com.

Just sent it.

BAIST offers amazing deals for mountain employees. They listed at $140-$200 for their whole system and I got mine for $84. Unreal deal. Their gloves are the best I've had and their price without discounts is already amazing.

I worked in the industry I’d say the best way is to maybe get ahold of a rep explain the situation and some of the time they’ll give you a code or something.

just found out i get a 40% off pro deal with K2 for being part of Freestyle ontario as a coach

dont need anything but still sweet
