Hey guys, this is my rough cut of a contest im doing soon and I would like to know If I should change any cuts before going into sound and color editing.

also I would like to know what you guys think about the general video.

first off, skiing and filming were on point!

only criticism was that the music has been used alot in other edits so if you could choose another one it might be better but either way that was sick!
 
great job, i liked it start to finish

only critiques:

-didn't like the blow out/overexpose fade transition between shots that you used 3 or 4 times toward the start of the edit, because you used them almost consecutively, which was repetitive, and then we never saw it again.

-didn't like the shot at :27, it was just to blurred and choppy

thanks man those are exactly the types of critics im looking for! thanks for the help. I agree on the choppyness, I had it accidentaly set to 30p and I need slowmo or else its too fast
 
i see. i could tell that you must have made some sort of mistake in the settings, because you had other shots that were smooth slow motion with no frame blending.

well done though!
 
shot at :27 was a little awkward in my opinion. Exposure seemed off on it, and it was choppy.

Loved the section with the rails from eye trip. those were dope.

some of the angles got a bit relative, ( top of urban rail, looking down). Also, some of the shots where you switched back and forth between angles were sometimes a little hard to follow.

and like someone said, songs been used a ton. not really the person to talk, but i really liked the video overall. nice job dude.
