Private Gallery Questions

I've got a few questions about the private gallery. Is there any way to allow certain people to view my private gallery? Also, because it is private, can I still post those pictures in threads or messages?

The private gallery is for you to store images that are not accessible by other members. At the moment, there is no way to allow certain memebers to view your private gallery. However this is something we're working on.

When you add images to a post, you have a filter setting to allow you to view images uploaded by "Self" or "Everyone". If you click "Self", you can pick images from your private gallery.

The reason behind this whole thing is so members dont' have to clutter the gallery with pictures that they only want to use in threads or blog posts. It also means you have a single place to review all the images you've used in your posted content.

Images that are linked from external sites won't have thumbnails.

Links to outsite page can be all kinds of stuff, and not necessarily just an image. Also, there are legal issues with generating copies of other people's copyrighted worked.

Images uploaded to NS are assumed to be the property of the uploader.

why would a silly picture be deleted from my gallery. It was a photoshopped morph.. Someone asked for a picture of my daughter so I found the ugliest photo and posted it. Why would that be deleted?

i added a video to my private gallery. how do i add it to a post? When i click "insert media" it only lets me insert pics.
