Printing Photos

Any suggestions on where to venture to for some prints of my photos? Looking for quality, and a couple different sizes for the house. Do you guys do it online or attempt to find a local shop? Never have done this and looking to give some christmas gifts and wanted to start soon. Thanks for all help.

IMO it's better to support local business. You could go into the local store & ask what type of stuff they print on, price range, and ask to see some samples of what they've done. Just an idea!

I'd be inclined to go to a local place, that way you can see the media they have to print on & dicuss how to optimize the print in person.

Prodpi.com don't look back, best quality papers and print resolution, speedy turn around. I use them religiously for my clients prints or personal as well.

Depending on where you live some times the local camera shops are great because they either have their own labs or know which labs are the best to use. I personally work in a camera shop and we have our own lab so I can print and develop my own stuff for ridiculously cheap. Do some digging and see what's around you

I used to print my photos in a special photo salon, but then I realized that it was very unprofitable and decided to change the concept. I started looking for high-quality laser printers for printing photos and I found suitable models on the website www.mrdepot.ca . Also, there I found some excellent toners for printing. All this equipment cost me about 1,500 bucks, but if you look at it in the long run, it is really very beneficial. So I advise you to stop spending money on printing photos in the salon and start doing it yourself!

I really like artifact uprising, but I second what was said above about finding a local spot. Usually better with pricing if you can build a relationship as well.
