yo guys,

wanna help me brainstorm here? I make designs for sealed4freshness, a new apparel company. check out our website if you'd like (www.sealed4freshness.com) pretty shitty now but its getting a make over soon. anyways, our newest tee which showcases a 4 step process of a joint getting rolled up got fucked up in the print. its supposed to have green weed in the paper, but the tees got printed and it came out brown..... straight up looks like some tobacco gettin rolled. anyways, we're going to do a reprint of the tees to get the correct color, and we have to pay about $400 more to get it done. so now we have 72 tees that got fucked up, what should we do with them?? we were thinking of donating them to some country that could use them, but it would also be dope if we could make a little bit of money back as nobody is paying to produce these except ourselves.

if you guys have any ideas of how to make some money back or who could really benefit from these tees, please let me know!!

not sure if these will work as they're from facebook, but worth a shot.

and sorry to marijuana haters, i'm not encouraging the use of drugs

my homie was really down to get it printed (he puts most of the money in) and he thought people would buy it....

I'd be looking for a new print shop if they really aren't claiming responsibility for it and fixing the situation. As long as you sent them proper pictures and documents of what colors you wanted on the order and they agreed to it before they started printing. They obviously are at fault for the misshape and should be working with you to correct the issue and not lose your business and your word of mouth about the print shop. If you did these inhouse then you're kind of at a loss there.

As for ways to get rid of the shirts and not eat a total loss, have you considered a sale of defect shirts, or something along the lines of buy one of our other shirts, and for shipping you get this shirt also (that way shipping might be a bit more and you can make some back on it)

Or you could rebrand the shirt as a hipster rolling his own cigarette and sell it that way.

thanks for a solid response. yeah my buddy actually just hit me up and it looks like we won't be paying much for a reprint.

yeah that first picture is what they sent us of what it would look like, and then the real photo is what they printed.

Give them to the homeless. Seriously. 4FRNT got their hoodies in for this year from china and they were all printed upside down. About 800 hoodies, too. They went down to homeless shelters in salt lake and handed them out to homeless peeps.

I could not where that shirt anywhere but a party, I'll take 2.

Seriously though, anyone else get nervous when wearing marijuana related apparel? I don't want the fucking cops targeting me cause Im wearing a rasta beanie.

That was my first thought when I read this thread. Not only are you helping people less fortunate than you, but if you go about it right, you can generate some good PR/press for your fledgling company. Win win.

what state are you from? if its not texas utah or nevada, then why do you care? cops wont target you, they have more important things to do than to spy on some kid wearing a rasta beanie.

Very stupid shirt. Is it strange that a puff of weed smoke just came in my window haha?

No, I am not a drug hater, but I lol at kids who think wearing shirts like this is cool.
