Pretzels and Polish Donuts

This is important! I noticed the thread about syndicate, and how we all agree that Krush is not our favorite person... I feel the same way, and earlier in the year I emailed him regarding his/snoqualmies disaproval against skiers, as shown by the lack of skier compititions and riders on syndicate. His responce to me, was that it is our own fault, becuase not many skiers show up. I can see where he is coming from, but in our deffense, when there is a compitition with skiers, he doesnt try very hard to get the word out about it... But this year on March 28th there is gunna be a skier only compitition at snoqualmie, called pretzels and polish donuts. It would be awful if nobody shows up and Krush feels awsome because he would never need to 'waste his time' on another event for us. This is our oppertounity to put him in his place, but for that to happen we need to have a killer turnout! Im making this thread so far in advance so that you all can put it on It on your calendar. Even if your just starting out in the park and arent that confident on the jibs yet, come out, sign up, and have a blast with a bunch of fellow skiers. When you read this, make sure to spread the word to your friends that arent on NS, we need everyone we can get. You guys from stevens, crystal, baker and maybe even mission ridge should do the same... I say we try to get as good of a turn out as the volcom competition that was a couple of weeks ago. Feel free to discuss anything compitition and or attendance related in this thread!

Krush has definitly slipped into deep douchedom in the last few years

but he's right

Where the fuck were you guys a few years ago when like four skiers showed up for the pipe contest?

sounds rad, i'll come up even if im still hurt. only a 45 min drive, and wat else would i be doin?!

shit! i'm getting my wisdom teeth out that wednesday, hopefully i'm good to ride by then! i'll definatly show up and kill it with everyone.

did you say how much it is? annnd we would prob have to pay for lift tickets n all if we dont ride usually there?

does that mean only a legit rail jam? or does that mean a legit slopestyle comp...
i doubt you know, but i'm curious...

So found out tonight that it's more of a rail sesh/skier gathering than anything. I guess if you do a cool trick you get some shwag or something...dunno?

Good call bro!

Reminds me of the Uber Booter that Chris Noteef and I were the only skiers that showed up to a few years back...

and good riding with you and Kevin tonight.

This is an event that Krush and I brainstormed at the end of last season. I am out in Idaho for the rest of the week. I have a flyer image and a press release at evo. I will post them when I get back to Seattle and lay all speculation to rest. The original idea is for it to be 3 zones top to bottom including jumps and jibs. It sounds like its snowing there finally and we will have snow to build all the fetures we are plannig but I don't want to over promise anything specific. It should be a good time and I hope everyone is planning to come out.

Sounds fun. The main thing is just getting a lot of people to come. I just remember when I was younger I always thought I was too young/unskilled to compete, but that is completely not the case. Even if you are just hitting everything straight, you are welcome, and will be cheered on by everyone.

There are a lot more skiers at Snoqualmie, young and old, in the past couple years, so I know we can make a good turnout and show them skier comps are worth the time.

krush will be one of the features for the rail jam. he will be waist deep in snow and will function as some sort of bonk or tap.

Ok its official!
