its not too hard for us to spot them but were not buffalo now are we.

im imagine it could have something to do with their eyes or just that lions are good at blending in

Well you would think that because you are responsible for watching over a baby buffalo, and you are near a pond... where many predators come to drink, that you might be a little more observant and notice the 7 or so lions laying there. I know they are camoflauged (sp) well, but regard less 7 lions laying on the ground does not blend in that well with scattered grass.
