Preseason Rail Jams 2015

Getting close to the time of year where mountains and ski shops release their date for preseason jams. I talked to management at Ski Ward in Shrewsbury and they said they would likely be doing another rail jam this year on their dry slope. Last year they had it on October 5th, so I would expect it would be around the same time. I know a lot of mountains do preseason jams with rink snow around mid-October as well, so if you know any official dates feel free to share it here.
 
Wachusett's annual fun in the sun rail jam will take place on Saturday, October 10th. I don't see a start time but in the past it has started around 10am at the base of the mountain. Looking forward to it!
 
Anyone know the status on either the Nashoba or Crotched jams? We'll likely have a crew in attendance for those and Ski Ward when/if they go down.
 
I'm itching to ski so badly, definitely going to try and get out to some early season jams. There's usually one that Colorado Ski Shop does, I don't have info on it though.

Haven't heard them do one in a few years, but would be dope if they did again.

I'm going to the wachusett one, may do some others down in that area if they are on Columbus day weekend

yeah but its not till there is snow on the ground. i doubt the school would do a preseason one but that would be sick

Dont hold me accountable but at the meeting for ski club Im pretty sure colin said something about a preseason one along with a movie premier some time in October
 
I'll most likely be up at the Wachussett jam. Update on the Crotched Rail Jam, the scheduled date is now November 7th, 2-5pm I believe
 
A couple of us will be down at Wachusset Saturday unless anyone knows something about the Ski ward jam

No word on the ski ward jam, think they bailed on the idea of having one. Pumped for Wachusett though

Jam starts at 10am, probably wise to get there a little before then

Come down for sure dude, I remember you guys from the Crotched and Ski Ward jams last year, Washussett should be sick!

Wachusett's was good while the snow lasted, which was not a long as I would have hoped, but still fun.

And @infuser, no word on the plymouth one yet so maybe it isn't actually happening.

In reply to myself i'll say this, It was me and 4 friends, we were the ones who set it up and shredded for like an hour, ate some free food and bounced in the bounce house.

Solid 7 of a time.

UVM puts on Dawn of the Shred, it's a rail jam around halloween. Limited spots though and it might just be for students. Same w Champlain college
 
Crotched mountain preseason rail jam is this Saturday from 11am-2pm, site says they'll be handing out prizes for best trick. No setup has been announced, but they said they may release a sneak peek on their facebook page. Setup will likely be similar to previous years, down donkey, flat bar or shotgun rail, and some kind of box setup. Hope to see some of you there
 
UNH durHAM rail jam this FRIDAY NOV. 13th

Registration starting at 5pm actual event start around 7pm

$15 cost for participation

Prizes for top 3 skiers and top 3 boarders

Everyone needs a helmet!

Those under 18 need a parent with them

There may or may not be large quantities of a substance that gives you wiiings
