Alright, so I'm applying for a Premier's Excellence award that is $15 000 and I desperately need the money to afford my school plans (graduationg then going away to university).

Anyways, part of the application is the question:

What historical figure would you like to be for a day and why?

The problem is, I can't think of anyone I'd want to be for a day. I'd rather meet them than be them.. but either way, no one really sticks out on someone I'd want to be. I have to handwrite the essay and its due tomorrow, however I can get an extension till monday if absolutely necessary, but it's definitly got the possibility of hurting my chances turning it in late. I'm also canadian, so that might make a difference. I'm going into business and I'm female as well if that helps come up with ideas.
 
Do soemthing that could win their heart over, like your mother or you father, or the president so thatyou could see whats real or not, something that you really could just prove yourself with, like someone in iraq or anything.
 
if your going into business you should pick someone like al capone. even if he was a criminal...hes one hell of a businessman. he carried out sooooo much illegal activities and everyone knew he did but there was never any solid evidence. that is smarts right there.

being yourself is a really good call. talk about comfort in your skin, the amount of potential you possess, how driven you are, how lucky you are to have your fortune and parents, your experience with various cultures and economic situations, et cetera.

Helen Gurley Brown is pretty fucking cool, also. She founded Cosmo mag and was basically the Jackie O of womens rights. She was one of the first modern women to stand up for women and to even attempt to break the taboos of female sexuality. She was an excellent leader, extremely driven, overcame SO many obstacles and raised a few kids in the meantime. Shes someone all women can take a cue from. Something I really like about her, too, is that she was a feminist without totally going granola; she was a fashionista and super together. She wasn't all hippied-out and was superlevel-headed. God she was cool.

 
haha yea thats along the lines of what i was meaning i just coudnt be bothered typing it out.. it would be taking a little bit of a risk doing that as it isn't what they asked for, but it could also really spin around and work in your favour, showing that you are willing to take a risk and that you're prepared to do what you believe in, as you said you wouldnt really like to be anyone else.
