hey, does anybody else have a problem with premiere skipping when you export your vid or just try to preview it? does anybody know how to fix this? thanks alot

 
You mean when you are exporting or viewing in the timeline when the movie starts fast forwarding really fast?

I think this is caused by a lack of memory on your computer, it happens to me sometimes and it is a major pain in the ass.

i know what your talking about. that fastforwarding...its because i dont have enough ram on my computer. you ned more memory or a faster processor i think. the parts for my new computer arrived today, so i wont be having that problem anymore.

faster hd and more ram...most likely a faster hd though..that's your bottleneck. most people i know edit w/a 10k rpm drive at least

ya irefusetodieinsilence has lots of ram though he has a brand new sony comp and its not usually a problem just when we try to export a entire video on to the camera again but ya thats what happens it just fastforewards really fast.Graham try exporting each part seperatly and just try and mathch them up in the black part between segments
