Hi everyone,

What do you guys/gals think is the best training you can do for your skiing during the off season. I’d love to hear some ideas and see some programs that you think paid off!

[tag=147716]@SkierPT[/tag] has posted some quality stuff here. From my experience cycling and core training are pretty beneficial

Trampoline is probably good offseason training. Now im mostly just lifting heavy in the gym that helps to. maybe rollerblades is good offseason training

i’m only two days into blading but i can’t imagine anything better for off season ski training. the platform for blades is so tiny you need to be bolts basically all the time. gonna be so helpful for my skiing

You already in the pre-season state of mind? I'm still in the end of season depression, (post-season state of mind??)

the worst is the immediate shoulder season depression once skiing is done. i’m starting to get into the swing of summer a lil more and am feeling better

I'll probably get into summer mode after this week. I'll be larpping chicken joe at the beach.

I usually just blast my legs on bike for about 10-15 miles everyday i can in the summer so my quads dont burn up like crazy thru out the season. Im sure theres better shit to help stay in good ski shape, but biking is so easy and enjoyable for me.

Apart from summer skiing on glaciers, Argentina, NZ... for me, the best possible training has been mountain biking. It's probably better training than summer skiing because it strengthens your legs and knees way more than skiing ever can.
