Anyone else notice how tanner is pre qualified for pipe?

^yeah that's sweet that t hall has a spot if he wants it.
but that's dumb that jossi's not on the list. overall pipe champ last year wtf!

Jossi did pre qualify for pipe, and andreas did pre qualify for slope. They just were not on the list because to won the dew cups and were mentioned earlier in the article i read.

No big surprises in there. The real question is, who's going to qualify for the Dew Tour and give these pros a run for their money?

sooo stoked to see this. tanners comeback (if he choses to do so) will be of epic proportions!

Wowzers this list is pretty shocking!
I mean.. Elias ambuhl, Colby west, Tom wallisch, Bobby Brown!!???
Let's hear it for the little guys and underdogs!

But seriously im glad T-Hall has a spot. I heard he got an all time high score at the x-games for "best stoking of athletes"

Tanner won't be back in competition this year. Word on the street is however that he is going to start training for the olympics in may or something. Course, that's assuming there is an olympic pipe event.

I look at that list and it blows my mind how far the field has come in terms of overall talent. I remember watching X-Games slope like 5 years ago thinking only 3 or 4 guys even have a shot at the podium. They just seemed head and shoulders above the others. Now, I think any number of about 15-20 guys could take it if they put down their best run. I wish I could watch more Dew Tour stuff. Delicious.
And as an addition to comments on this thread, who do you think has had the best overall dew tour run? I still love Houle's from first stop at Mt Snow. Set a sick precedent of hits and rails in the same run, not just a glorified big air.

the olympics isnt for another 3 1/2 years. tanner will be 30. idk if he will be in olympic pipe shape come 2014.
i could defiantly see tanner just focusing on bc, but abandoning pipe comps for the next few years in order to compete in the 2014 olympics. i just dont see that

if you dont know who torin is start doing some research. the kid slays. it is pretty sick to see an up and comer competing with the big guns! hopefully he keeps killing it
