ok so i sold my old saga jacket. shipped it out priority mail from salt lake to bozeman. its been 3 weeks and linelover has not recieved the coat. i have never had a problem with selling or buying anything on here. I have been a part of newschoolers since when linelover was in diapers (it looks like from here photos) i did not get tracking or delivery conformation because i felt i was going out of my way sending it priority mail FOR FREE and i in my life have never incountered a shipping problem.

Aparently the jacket did not arrive. To be honest its long gone if it hasnt arrived.

I dont know what to do. She has sent me 5 arrogant messages about me being a scamming douche and she doesnt give a fuck about my feedback because the last one is in 2008 or some bullshit and all i am is a scamming douche who should feel like shit around my grandmother.

what i do have on my side is that linelover sent me a GIFT through paypal. so technically no goods are exchanged. she sent me a gift, i didnt ship with delivery conformation. who is at fault? what is the solution? do i lose my coat? or does hannah lose her money? do we meet in the middle?

i would say in this case both of you were equally stupid. (no tracking # and gift payment) therefore, i feel that you should split the money.

this could have all been avoided by getting a tracking # to prove that you sent it, that it was delivered, and that it was not lost. even if it was lost you would still be able to prove you sent it.

doesnt sound like a fun situation.

legally, it sounds like you're in the clear. you both sent "gifts" to one another, so she cant say that you didnt hold your end of the bargain, because then she would be in trouble for avoiding fees and taxes

it comes down to what you think is right. if you give her half then at least you made a little bit of cash. then again, maybe she did get it and since you dont have a tracking number she can just play it off like you scammed her

theres just too many variables in the equation to think about. good luck

what's the girl's name? could you ask for someone in her neighborhood to go talk to her and make sure she doesn't have it? because that seems really odd, and the shipping company would have given it back to you assuming you put a return address on it...

Fuck that bitch, keep your money. thats just my opinion. Legally you are in the clear, if it were me in the situation I would just assume they are trying to get a free jacket.

I think the two of you should have a thread on here discussing the outcome, while NS follows it "maturely."

If a decision can't be made, a split makes the most sense to me. It sucks yes, but unfortunate :(
I want to see how she handles this situation on here. Hopefully as maturely as you have.

It's only been 3 weeks, I've waited months for items to arrive being shipped by priority mail w/o tracking numbers. The right thing to do is to give all the money back, but in this case the item is probably still on its way, so wait a bit longer before returning any money.

you are ina predicament. but find some way to confirm if this guys lying about getting the jacket or not, then procede

You should keep the money for sure man. The post office ALMOST never fucks up, if you put a return adress on it, and it never made it to her then you would have gotten it back for sure. It seems like she is trying to scam you into giving her the money back even though she got the coat. Just double check the adress to see if there was anything about it that could have easily been messed up (ex an 8 and a 0 in her area code) Most likely she is trying to scam you, cus the post office never messes up.

Also since there was no tracking number you dont know that she did not recieve it and is scamming you. GET TRACKINGZ NUMBERS. thats why I only do UPS or fed ex.

delivery confirmation # from usps works all the same.

seeing as how this was 2 months ago, what was the outcome?

have him talk to the post office, or go in yourself maybe. I have had numerous shipping problems with USPS in the past so i would say anything you ship with a value of over $20...def get the tracking. its only 80 cents

i told hannah to go check the post offices around bozeman, she said she did the post office gave her specific instructions to go ONLY to the post office i sent it from and file a missing package form. well i do that, and tell the teller says ummm no such thing. you just call this number.

this made me assume she didnt go to the post office at all, i wrote her an email explaining that there is no missing package form at the post office and she could call that number, since i have been skeptical the entire time of this. well its been about 2 months and i havent heard from her, and im not going out of my way to make contact or ammends because i think this person tried a reverse scam. who knows.

bottom line, dont send your package without that 75 cent confirmation,

and dont say a fuckin shithead ns member since like 2002 with 5000 posts scammed you and that my grandmother should be ashamed she even gave birth to my mother to give birth to me.

end of story

Hey.

So i have been talking around with people in town/ the post office in

town and you need to file a lost mail report at the post office that

you sent the jacket from. I would like to have you scan & send me a

copy of the paper that you fill out to do this. They will have this in

their record and be able to look around for it. This is was the local

post office here told me to do. Being that you send out stuff all the

time with your business, you can easyly get this done this week right?

wow, get some other nser in the area to see iif she has the jacket or not. she seems to be being a bitch
