Prayers for Danny Toumarkine

I'm pretty surprised no one has posted anything yet, so I thought I would go ahead and do so.

Danny Toumarkine, snowboarder with Shreddy Times sustained a traumatic brain injury on Jan 3rd on a trip in Montana.

"The last little feature was on the left side of the run and you dropped into it from the right, it was like a mini step up jump to a 50 foot mellow landing with trees on the other side. I was below watching. Will dropped first then Danny dropped and did a backside 180, he traveled alot further in the air than previous hits. He landed blind and when he turned his head to see the run out, the trees were right in front of him. He slid out, letting his board take most of the hit then flew forward, head first, into the grouping of trees. Unfortunately, he was not wearing a helmet."

He has since been in a medical induced coma, and the website http://dannyisthebomb.com/ has been created for updates on his condition and to reflect on what an amazing guy he is.

I know he's not a skier, but he's a fellow shredder, and it's always so sad to see people suffer from such life-changing injuries.

You all should stop by the site and show some support!

prayers to him, brain buckets were made for a reason thoughnot saying it would of saved him but defs woulda helped out

I used that guys sponsor me video way back in the day for my senior project. he is a sick rider and it is sad to see this happen.

Harsh, bro. All his family and friends regret that decision, and all have swore to wear helmets from now on. We are all human and are free to make our own choices. He is a great person, a great rider, and has a lot of great people who care for him.

Regardless of his decision to wear one or not, he deserves and needs support.

i was fortunate enough to meet Danny while at windells this summer. we had some great convos and drank some brews by a fire. hes one of those pros that went out of their way to make sure i had the best camper experience possible. an awesome guy in all
mad vibes++++

Danny is the man and was one of the nicest people i met when i moved out to hood, always smiling and his laugh brings smiles to everyone around.

get fucked buddy. everyone read that the first time, people dont wear helmets, get over it.

vibes to this guy, here's hoping he recovers.

Really man? That is your response to this thread? Your acting like you have never done anything that enabled your chances of putting yourself in danger. Have you ever driven over the speed limit before when there was absolutely no reason to?? My guess is yes.

Please be a little more sensitive about your comments. Danny for one is NOT stupid. He is a well educated, and is very calculated in everything he does. Accidents happen, we dont need your would'a. should'a. could'a. comments.
