Pray for my brother

On sunday, May 17, my brother who is 14 years old was pitching for his baseball team and was struck by a batted ball which hit him in the head. He sat down and walked to the bench where he began to throw up; this is when we knew he was in trouble. He was air-lifted to Cincinnati Children's hospital and underwent brain surgery. They removed over 25% of his skull and stopped the bleeding inside of his head. He was put into a coma to rest him and was taken out if it Wednesday. He is concious, but they have him sleeping most of the day.

He is still listed in critical condition, but he is doing great. He can hear people, move all of his legs and arms and even gave the doctor a thumbs up when he asked. He can also breath on his own a bit, but still uses a breathing ventalator. All I ask you to do is please pray for him, we are 17 months apart and we do everything together and I want him to be back home with more more than anything. You can take solace in knowing that Cincinnati Children's is one of the best childrens hospitals in the country. If anyone can take care of your little bro it'll be the doctors there.

vibes man ++++++++++++

i was pitching about 4 years ago, and took a line drive straight to the middle of the sternum, which i actually caught after it bounced off my chest /claim. but it was scary i had to go to the hospital and get a ton of heart tests cause my heart skipped a beat or two

get better!!!!!!!!

thats really intense man, im so sorry to here that. ++++++ vibes to you and your family, and i hope he makes it out better than ever!

best of luck and vibes to him...

i had a somewhat similar experience when i was younger just not as severe. Pitching and a line drive came straight back at me, i turned and ducked and it hit me in the back of the head and knocked me out for a few seconds. The center fielder actually caught it from the bounce off my head.

This March, at a competition my brother, whos 20 months younger than me, got a traumatic brain injury. It was definetly the most scared ive ever been not knowing whether or not my brother was ever gonna be the same again. I saw him the day after and he could barely talk. He got very lucky and almost is back at 100% and is playing baseball. So just never lose faith. anyways ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++vibes to your brother
