Powerpoint help!!!

i started a power point at school and i didn't finish so i emailed the file to myself to work on at home and when i opened the file at home, the application could not open it because it had been corrupted.
i have microsoft office 2004 and i need to to this report soon and have to time to do it at school
how do i fix???
it is a .pptx file and i changed it to a .ppt file and still didn't work

No but really, did you use the converter from Microsoft to convert pptx to ppt? If you didn't find it and use it. Try redownloading the attachment. Otherwise, shit happens, you're fucked.

u cant just rename pptx ppt, theyre different. microsoft does have something that lets you open pptx, docx & xlsx in old programs

yea i have no idea what this converter is. my microsoft is fucked though anyway it takes like an hour to unfreeze and start working. might need a newer version
