So where is the Line in the Sand for this type of Language? Is this Oppression? The Reversal of Rights? Approval of Genocide? is this just a Joke? Can this be casual normal language? Who can say these words that we're told we can't say? Just the people who the words represent? Can Comedians and Artists use these words in their work?

Here's how I see it: there are words used to describe groups of people that have hateful origins (homophobic slurs, the n word, etc). Some of the people in those groups now use those words to refer to each other but not in a hateful way, as you mentioned in the video. However, if you're not part of those groups, I don't think you should use those words. I mean, you don't believe that it's right for u to say the n word just because there are black people who use it to greet each other? I can't see how homophobic slurs are any different. Not tryna cancel anyone here, I'm just saying that we should do the right thing
 
And even if you’re not part of a group that’s repurposed a slur used against them I think everyone can relate to having an embarrassing story about or nickname for a family member that’d start a fight if some random person brought it up or called them that.

It (the word), like others of this ilk, have been meant to degrade initially. Think about that for one thin minute.....initially to degrade other humans. So why would it ever be ok from that stand point?

Once the aggrieved party APPROPRIATES the word to use casually, as an identifier, or in a way they are comfortable with, then it becomes an issue of usage.

"He's queer" is very different from "He's a queer", imo.
 
Language is different among groups, communities, nationalities, etc. As an Australian I use cunt everyday, however if I was talking to someone that wasn’t Australian it would be up to me to limit my use of the word as it has different connotations and meaning elsewhere in the world.

Same goes for your use of slurs, you may be allowed to say it amongst your group of friends, however, that allowance stops when you’re not with your friends anymore as the words meaning reverts back to the original slur.

Marginalised groups have appropriated the word to take the word back, however you using a slur not part of the community still has the negative connotation to it.

My childhood was an era where that was normal to say. But, when I think back on it I think it’s because being bigoted against homosexuals was a normal part of straight male identity for a long time. Just for me I don’t like what using that word says about me as a person, if I wouldn’t say it to my gay friends or family members I shouldn’t say it ever.

what if homophobia, racism, etc etc hateful things, are merely just immature understandings of the world. So as long as there is Youth, there will be immature racism, homophobia, etc etc, so the only way to solve it is to kill all the kids of the world, and age doesn't necessary mean you're not a kid.

It's pretty obvious in my opinion. Just don't be an asshole. Usually the people saying these words know whats up, they just don't care. It's kind of a dick move.

Things change over time. If you honestly feel like not being able to say homophobic stuff is taking something away from you, you're probably an asshole.

Just a weird thing to dig in on. You said something, somebody callled you out, move on. No need to be an ass.

These are slurs. Slurs are defined as: "an offensive term used deliberately to show a lack of respect for a particular group of people" There are other definitions but most are pretty similar.

Your small social bubble may be fine with it, but don't be shocked when 99% of people think that the word that is (by definition) disparaging a group of people isn't cool to use. 99% of people don't think it's "cool" to be able to say words that are used to hurt groups of people, and don't like the fact that you act like it's cool.

If a word is basically defined as "a term used by group x to disparage group y" it is obviously different if group x uses the word vs group y.

Does that answer your questions?
