Powder vs park

If you had a choice to become a profesional bacountry skier or a profesional park/slopestyle skier what would you choose

Ughhh.... weelllll slope skiers prob make more assuming they compete but backcountry would be so sick. So id say a guy like Delorme that just slays both

Backcountry, because you get to travel so much. And when you're not, you can still hit the park whenever you want

Powder! I rarely get to ride powder in SoCal so my vote goes to powder. Only time I get some fresh tracks is right after a big storm at Mammoth, local resorts like Mt. High and Bear rarely see powder (I'm talking about a foot of fresh snow or more).Speaking of big storms, there is one this week so I'm hoping to get up to Mammoth Friday night.

Your response is about as stoopid as this thread.

1) park is fun. But a pow day kicks any parks ass anyday of the week.

2) Pow is way more free than park. Floating around, droping pillows and cliffs. Nothing compares.

3) Stop making this thread.

I'd say someone like dane tudor, does switch triples aswell as dropping huge as fuck pillows and also wins coldrush on masdive mountains, dude kills it all round

you can do park stuff in the backcountry more easily than you can do backcountry stuff in the park

bacountry. you can ski backcountry for way longer, theres a lesser chance of getting hurt, and you get to travel the world and ski crazy pow.

Can you please explain a bit more about this poll?

If you are using it for a paper, I wouldn't.. there is significant sampling bias in the way this survey is created

SKI-BOSS. Nuff said- do park when you are younger, and when you get too old for dat shee you have a solid foundation and can move on and slay the pow for 20 more years. Win-win.

Im sorry but, this is a dumb question.

Park on days without snowfall

Pow with days of snowfall

i was actually somewhat surprised with the results , everyone from Massachusetts only does park, don't get me wrong pow is sick those guy have massive balls but I thought more people skied park than pow on this site

Park all day... dont get me wrong I fucking love skiing powder and shredding steeps its absolutely amazing. But the money is in park skiing thats where the media is and the spot light is and that is what I would be after. Those park dudes must get some time to get out of th epark once and a while and freeski.
