Powder Vs. Park

I get so much shit from freinds about loving POWDER and back country and i plan on getting better at park but my question is which would you choose Powder or Park. Would you rather go to Swizerland or would you rather go to utah to hit the sweet park?

park is super fun, but if there's any fresh the park is the last thing on my mind.

and there was a thread on this already

Yeah i no i went to utah last year like the best pow day of the year IT WAS AWESOME i go to snowbird and solitude god damn it was cool

I think it depends what you usually ski. My mountain doesn't have a park so usually all I ski are booters, pow, etc. So I'd go with the park.

Oh, and powder can be elusive. I would pick a place that has good terrain so if it does snow, you're set, but also a place that has a good park (or good proximity to a park) so you can still have a blast.

dude i go to Bogus Basin we get no powder we crappy park the best spot we got around to ski is tammy and i rarly go there but its kinda whatev were sopposed to have a good year so im hoping we get dumped on with some powder this year.

im more of a park it might be cause ive never actually skied real pow. hopefully i have that chance when i go out west this year

Wait, so people give you shit for not being a park rat?

Honestly I find it difficult to believe this. Yes park is fun, but it's nowhere close to the same plane of awesomeness as a good pow day.

hahaha would you rather ski powder OR go to utah and ski park.......

how fucking wrong and oxymoronish is that statement..

go to utah and ski some good parks and some gnar gnar

i love pow! but my home mtn is tiny and the pow is pretty much gone in a half hour so ill ride it until its shit, but riding park when there is pow is also mad fun. but kickers into mad pow rule it all

both are mad fun and heve lots of room for progression from pros and normal rec skiers...I dont hate on any of it thou its funny that people hate on park rats but not often on powder hounds

here in the midwest i am a park rat by nature... but if i moved out west i would get some ep pros and be the biggest powder hog alive...

Ive always been a parkrat and I am moving to Utah (from east) but to ski powder. I still plan to progress riding park, but just bought my first pair of powder skis and ready to shred.

ski pow if theres pow and if theres not ski park.....im not understanding the question i dont think

w/ nomensteven on this. when there is powder, ski it, when there isnt, ski park. but def powder>park but park is good too

park in the powder is pretty fun before it get all traked out and shitty then you just gotta go tree skiing

Switzerland: Laax tends to have both.

Then again I've never really had a really good booter line. Must be insane...
