Powder skis

I have a couple questions about powder skis. What is better for powder: a soft ski or a stiff ski? Also is a longer ski better for powder than what you normally use?

depends on what kind of skier you are and what kind of skiing you plan to do with them. i personally ski a 175ish in park and a 185 in pow, i like a stiffer pow ski just for better floatation and a more solid feel off jumps. hope this helps alittle
 
are stiff skis better for charging? What flex is better for big lines? Im 5'6'' 140lbs. If you could choose a powder ski for my specs, which would it be? Line EP Pro, Line Sir Francis Bacon, Line Prophet 130, Atomic Bentchetler, K2 Hellbents, Armada ANT, or Armada JJ? I like backcountry jumps, charging, big lines, trees, cliff drops, and just playing in the pow.

sounds like you want a pair of on3p caylors.

mine are exactly what you want, and so is next years! also i believe they have 171s of the this year still, which is probably the size you need.
