Powder mountain.

i´ll go to utah in the first week of january i wanna go to powder mountain, can you give me some advice? the good things and the bad things about this resort? thank you
 
My SLC trip will focus on Alta / Snowbird and Park City.....although there are a lot of other places that I haven't considered like The Canyons or Powder Mountain.....

So I too would like to know how they all compare.
 
powder is pretty illy for sure! the good part is noone goes there so freshies will definately not be a problem. the bad part is noone goes there so there is absolutely nothing going on besides skiing there. cheap condo rates in the town below it thought if you want to split a place with some homies.
 
i'd go to the canyons over park city, lot less crowded, but it really depends on the type of skiing you plan on doing. if you go to the canyons hike murdocks peak. if you get a good snowfall the night before, there's usually beautiful untouched powder. don't pussy out either if you make it up the first face, hike across it. the better snow is on the left side.
