Powder Mountain SLC UTAH

Just wondering if someone has been on Powder mountain in Salt Lake City, UT.

I've a reservation for a trip there this coming January but my confirmation is due tomorrow.

I've never been in Utah before, usually I'm in Keystone/Breck and Vail so I'm not sure on what I will expect from Powder Mountain.

Please let me know if that's a good mountain for skiing or not. Thanks.

it's actually in ogden. I've never been there, but some guy told me its never crowded, plenty of pow all the time, but not too steep.

my grandma has a condo there... but i havent been since i was like 12... it was fun tho and never crowded.. they even had an alright park

Mellow terrain and empty, with some fun tree skiing. Slow lifts (unless they've replaced them since my visit, which was a while ago). Probably worth a couple of days max, unless it's dumping, then you can ski down to the road and catch a shuttle bus back up, allowing for tons of fresh tracks. You'll also be close to Snow Basin which has much better terrain and a very modern lift system. And don't forget the Shooting Star, it's in a small town between both ski areas and is the longest continuously open bar in Utah with a funky vibe.
