Powder All mtn, east

Hey I am headed to Suagrloaf in a month and am going to be headed out west soon. I live in Maryland on the east coast and make the Most out of the mountains I ski THE LINE CHRONIC in a 171. i am looking to get something wider that can go into the powder but then can ski groomers instead of going back and getting the chronics. i want something in the 175-180 range I know they are short for myself i am 5'10'' and am like 215. i just have never skied anything longer then the chronics I have and there is no place to demo skis around here. I want something I can bomb with, go into the trees, tight tree runs, agile, and can throw like flat 3's and stuff like that

these are my ideas

ARMADA JJ 2.0 175 Length 116 Underfoot

Atomic Bent Chetlers 178 Length 120 underfoot

Line MR pollard Opus 178 length 118 Underfoot

The LINE AND ATOMIC both have wider tips and tales

HELP PLEASE AND I WILL TAKE RECOMENDATIONS AND IDEAS PLEASE!!! ASAP HELP

Honestly none of those skis are "great" on hardpack or anything except the extremely rare foot plus pow day on the east coast, i recently went through this too (being from ct) and i bought some magic j's STRICTLY for pow and will ski my ar7's elsewhere, only reason i got magic j's is for my trips out west and possibly the spring to mess around. The best options for back east i would say are:

Line sfb- 108mm underfoot and come in 172,178 (rip all mountain, park, and pow) 649$

Kartel 106- (106mm) and come in 171,176,181 (more all mountin jib oriented ski but good for pow too) 679$

K2 shreditor 112 or 102- (102,112) and come in 169,179 (heard lots of good things, fun pow/all mountain) 649$

Candide 2.0- 102mm underfoot dont know lengths beside 169 but i know they make bigger (really fun soft and playful all mountain ski that seem like they good hold their own in pow) 770$

Armada tst- 101mm underfoot and come in 165,174,183 (less all mountain jib type of ski but more like all mountain/pow ripper, heard so many good things about them but not as playful as the rest) 649$

If you have any other questions feel free to ask and hopefully some other members will give some suggestions as well! Best of luck chosing your skis. (Sidenote, prices are retail from company so you can get them for cheaper elsewhere)

Yeah exactly what you were going throughout is what i am>!

I can get the Brand New ATOMIC BENT CHETLERS for 460 from backcountry.com and the ARMADA JJ 2.0 for 580 from the same site. I have my line chronics right now and they do great on anything from the dirt (lol) to the park to the whole mountain and trees but i really want something for when it snows like 4-5 inches but I don't want to buy something just a little wider I think I would rather have something wider and then just have be able to ski those days that get some snow. i just can't decided if the Bent cheaters are going to be to wide at 120 to go edge to edge or what

I ski Stowe with the Kartel 106s and they hold on hard pack and ice like none other. Really suprised by that, sweet all mountain/powder ski.

Sir Francis Bacon, you don't want a real pow ski if you're basing yourself out of maryland. I skied a 106 and it did everything for me from two feet of blower at jay to bumps on the backside of liberty.

I would imagine princeton has the length you need and for cheap, they probably have peacemakers cheap as well
