i need new pow skis next year between 115-125 underfoot and that are pretty soft in tip in tail for buttering but pretty stiff under foot so pretty much a jib pow ski

any suggestions

On3p caylor. Line mr opus. Atomic bentchetler. All 3 are good pow skis that jib like none other. All 3 stomp everything. You can go wrong with either

sick suggestions i was looking at the ben chetlers and they seem sick

also the armada pow skies but all of them seem pretty stiff for my preference

thanks

I have actually owned both the Caylor, and the Bent Chetler. Both are really solid jibcentric ski's that can charge.

I ride 191 ON3P Caylors they are honestly the best pow boards I've every used. The medium stiff flex means you can stomp all day, the bamboo core gives you so much pop and the ski feels lively and playful when I want but when I need it it's stiff and stable. These skis munch wind effected, crud and any other variable snow condition. Considering their width they grip ice and slay the groomers (as well as my line prophet 100s at least). If you are a lighter skier the Caylor Lite might be worth taking a look at too.

you don't need a rockered ski to be soft in the tip for it to butter, the rocker does that already, having a soft tip just hinders the performance of the ski in anything other then deep untracked, thats why caylors are so much more stable then hellbents/EP's

seem like a really sweet ski, my buddy has them and they're quite stiff, could be the ski for you!

i just posed this question yesterday, looking for pretty much the same ski you are and i decided on the Magic J. hard to find info on them but seems like its gonna be a suppper legit ski. also check out the k2 pettitor and the 4frnt YLE, my 2 other choices that seem awesome.

from what ive heared from u guys and from some research im going to decide next year between the moment night trains, on3p caylor, rocker 2s, bent chetlers and the jj'sthanks for your help +k to everyone

Why do you feel that way about the Caylors? Im looking into picking em up and this is honestly the first thing ive read that wasnt good about em. Not saying you are ripping on them either just want to hear your experience.

I wouldn't say their over hyped I rode next years rocker2s and I much perferred my Caylors, they're so versatile for their width and they are ridiculously durable the amount of time I should have core shotted them.

Maybe it's just me weighing more than most people I've seen review the Caylor but I found it a tad soft and not as good of a charger as expected. It's a really nice powder ski but not the best for hitting torn up snow or heavier snow conditions imo.

JJs arent stiff at all i have them and love them tried many of my friends skis like s7s surface new lifes rocker 2s i still like my JJS the best

Same. I'm on the jj thi year and it is one of the funniest skis I've owned. Not the best for charging but great for playing around in the trees!

I'm bigger myself....220. I think the Caylor charges well for a jibbier pow ski. Certainly better than the Bentchetler. I just got rid of the Bentchetler because it was so weak when it came to charging crud, and how floppy the tips were.

I've been demoing skis all year at baker and I found the jj's the best fit for me bent chetlers are fun but too soft and the rocker 2's are sweet in pow but don't hold up as well on Hardpack

Caylors, benchetlers or jjs for fat skis. Personally id go caylor or bentchetlers since they are a little stiffer and can cut through crud. Hellbents and obsetheds are too buttery for me, and other than deep pow they really dont perform as good as other skis in other conditions. Dont rule out skis in the 105-115 range too. Some sick skis that still float like crazy and do everything else too.
