Pow Ski Question (Help Appreciated)

Okay, so I have a pair of Liberty KGB's and they are 170 cm long and are 83 mm underfoot. They are excellent for groomers, and park, and just down days but I want to purchase some powder skis. I am looking at some skis that are 98 underfoot and 178 cm long. I want my powder skis to completely destroy in pow and hit backcountry jumps and float me, but still want them to be able to handle groomers and park when necessary. Should I invest in the 98 mm underfoot skis or choose skis that are 179 cm long and are around 110 mm underfoot.
I know that this is an interesting question but help will be extremely appreciated. Thank you very much.

The JJ's are pretty damn versatile, and are 115 underfoot so they float really well too. The Bacons are great everywhere, especially this years (08-09), so both of those would be good for what you are looking for. Next year's Bacons are gonna be rockered though, so they probably won't be able to do everything as well.

Dude, if you liked your KGBs, which were liberty pre-bamboo core; then maybe for what you are talking about the Helix would be right for you.

It's 105 underfoot so slightly wider than you are suggesting; but due to the lightness and the pop etc; they actually handle really well out of the powder.

In the powder; they are awesome; I had my best days of last season on them; and they made me properly enjoy skiing again.

Rossiskier11 nailed it. I'm torn between S5's and Live Lifes. I am 171 cm tall so they would both be taller than me and I don't know if they will be difficult to handle. I don't know if there is big enough of a difference between my 83 underfoot skis and the S5's that are only 15 mm wider. Should I get them or the Live Life's. Which Live Life is more versatile? Thank you so much for all the help.
