Pow + backcountry ski

Found some deals on bent 110’s and Whitewalker 116’s. Thinking of putting CAST on whichever I decide on.

Anyone have experience with either? Looking for a fun pow ski that I can do some small-medium jumps and tricks with. Thanks!

Ive actually skied both of these skis with a cast system last season. I would 100% choose Whitewalkers. Its my favorite ski and with a cast its very versatile. Only skied the chetlers because i won them, could not really get used to them while skiing either.

The 110 chetler is fine. Nothing special to write home about. If you’re talking about cast and powder I’d skip the bent 110 for sure.

Thanks both this is exactly what I was looking to hear!

Someone nearby me is selling last years Whitewalkers for $350 w some griffons that I’d probably swap out for some pivot 15’s for about $250 on bobleisure/snowcountry. I’m seeing bent 110’s for $450 on bobleisure. Maybe not the crazy deals some people here get, but good enough for me haha

Curious what are you considering a deal?

Forgot to say bobleisure will throw in mount if you buy bindings so it was gonna be $700 shipped for bent 110 w pivot 15’s

Are they in good shape for $350? Sounds like a solid deal. I would ABSOLUTELY not buy the 110 for $450. A lot better skis currently onsale atm. I just picked up p15 senders from bobs for $288.

what’s your preferred ski length?

Waiting on some more pics, but they seem to be in solid condition. Thanks for the heads up on the bent price.

Looking for something in the 180-185 length

And I’m US

How did you win them? Lucky!

Whitewalker for sure. Stiffer and a better floating ski. 110 can get goofy at speed and isn't particularly confidence inspiring if you are trying to ski anything big.

Got to spend a day on the QST X from Salomon. It was light, stiff enough, super playful. It had a bigger turn radius than I expected which let it open up more. I really enjoyed it..
