Potential semester off school to bum in BC...help me make it happen

Looking to be at Whistler this spring semester. Badly need to some off to get my head straight. Hopefully I can get this thing off the ground.

Firstly, I'm 19 years old and as such, I miss the youth season pass by one year. FUCK! The adult pass is like $1,000 more than the youth pass. I could get a fake ID that says I'm 18 for $100. Is this all I would need to do to save $900? Any other ways to get around this? I don't qualify for the student pass because unfortunately I live in the states.

Secondly, It's going to be impossible to find somewhere nearby to live won't it? Can a trade my car for a VW Bus and live in the parking lot or will they kick me out? Is there one nearby that would work? Are there people that do this who might guide me in their skibum art upon arrival? Do they have Wi-Fi in Whistler which I might utilize?!?

Hell, I think not working at all and living in a VW Bus would beat out the alternative...working my ass off on days that should have been rest days so that i can sit in an apartment. I could make some friends and hang out at their place before retireing to my rolling bungalow, afterall.

Thirdly, there is so much to consider. I have virtually no aspect of this worked out yet. Any tips on bumming in Whistler would be appreciated. I'M EXCITED! Hope this works out..

Lots of ppl live out of there cars. my friend is living out of his van for this whole winter. its kinda shitty in a vw cuz its just small and cold and after shreding you will want to dry your shit and relax. u just goda find a good job that lets you ski all the time. i drive a cab 4 nights a week. that still allows for so much time to ski. and i would say definitly come , cuz its gona be an epic season,

Thought about getting some kinda job for beer money at least. I'm 19 and live in the US. Do I need to get some kind of visa to get a job? Probably take like 6 months to get one wouldn't it?

Also, If I got some kinda camper, how much do long term electrical hookups at a campground or something cost?

Dude on TGR said I could crash for free at his place for the season as long as I'm at the cabin from 2am to 7am while so someones there while his kids sleep. It's like 40 minutes away though, so I have to wiegh it against just living in a camper in the parking lot. And It's one room with a loft. Electricity and hot water so not like camping though, lol.

Also, anyone know how viable parking in lot 8 for the whole winter is with a good size camper? Whould I be alright way back in a corner? Would I get kicked out before I knew it or are the cops/plowers cool about it?

I heard that if you move from one side of the lot to the other every day so that youre not on the side they're plowing that night you'll be fine, but this was a post from '99 and it was on a wierd forum so I dunno.
