http://dangerouslyfun.com/spud-gunheres the plans i used. but instead of a flint lighter i took apart a grill lighter and used the white spark piece. if you drill a hole through the cleanout plug then epoxy it in itll work like a charm. they are illegal though. i got caught with one and got a ticket.

My friend made a pretty decent one out of pvc. I forget the exact sizes he used but it was something like 2 feet of 1.5 inch pipe for the barrel and another 2 feet of 3 inch pipe for the chamber. You need a screw on bottom and some sort or spark (i think he used a grill lighter) to ignight whatever you spray in there for the explosion. Hope that helps.

one time, there were all these fishermen and people on jetskis chillin right in front of my house, like so close one of these asshole jetskiiers actually sprayed the dock, so i got out a spud gun and wrecked those motherfuckers, i hit the side of some guys fishing boat and it cracked the fiberglass. they called the sheriff, and i got a big fine, but it was the most worth-it thing in the history of worth it things ever
but the first link is good, make sure to let the pvc cement you use to make the joints cure for like a full 24 hours or the joints can break apart, and i find that hairspray works really well as a propellant, but only if you buy the really shitty dollar store kind, and make sure to paint the gun a cool color when your done and give it a sweet name like "the terminator" or "captain afterbang"

i didn't really make a spudgun, but a boltgun, basically you take a 3ft long barrel, about 1/3 inch diameter you plug one side with a bolt. then you throw in a lit fireworks, pirate firecracker type, and then a bolt or marble that fits loose but good in the barrel, then point it at a target and be amazed by the force of it.....
We fired bolts inside tree-trunks and through very thick triplex platings....
its basically a chopshop version of a real gun, you can def. kill someone with this baby....
