Posting in cults vs. standard forums

So sometimes I just wanna let go from talking about skiing 24/7 and kinda let my mind take a break for a bit, and I know NSG can be pretty immature and I know lots of people complain about that. Media and arts is great though too. This one as well.
But, how many of you spend the majority of your time in cults? How many of those cults are actually active? I'm just wondering... Oh and are there any really quality cults that people don't mind having new people join? I know some can be kinda tight groups that don't welcome newcomers.

a lot of them seem to have died, especially regional ones for the east coast. the sticker cult stays pretty active, and ladies men always has something to talk about. but other than that most of them are skiing related such as ASK TURPIN or Build a Jib 101

I used to post in cults a lot more that in the regular forums. And on a lot of different cults too. Over time they seemed to die out or just get plain ridiculous with some of the threads. I even left LM because it was getting so ridiculous.

Right now I check a few cult every once in a while to see if they are updated and I only post regularly in one particular cult. And you are right, there are still some very active cults that tend to not like new members :] The one cult I'm very active in had a thread saying how many times people have requested to get in and it was something like 90,000 times.

As of late I've been whoring it up in NSG.

I rarely used to go in cults.

Now I post in the Trick Tip Forum, LM, andMovie Makers, and a bunch of others pretty frequently, whereas I rarely go in Ski Gabber or Gear Talk. I spend most of my forum time in NSG, Site Discussion, and Media/Arts.

Almost never regionals.

Basically, the time I alott to cults has increased as of late. Not sure if it surpasses that of my forum time though...
