Post your truck

I have an SUV that I finally scheduled a service for while I'm in Hawaii.

Ninja Jewish mechanic who makes your car good as new haven't used him in a while since I haven't had a worthy ride can't wait to get my Navigator back.

My old gmt400. Great truck but was falling apart at 270,000 miles

1080047.jpegNew rig, 2005 tundra. Love this truck. Surprisingly capable off road for having such a long wheelbase.

Gonna get a bed camper setup going while I’m home for Christmas break plus more capable tires

Not mine but its the best I’ve seen in sometime. 4x4 manual high/low, shorty high-top. Lifted and with front light bar. Its a diesel. Idk its really great if you think about it

That gm is wicked! Tundra is sick too. Do you ever miss the single cab though? I feel like the crew/super would be much more practical but the short wheelbase wins me over anytime, just so much more manuveravle and it'll never get high centered.

The single cab shortbed was so nice for offroading. The truck is a z71 and a manual so it had super low gearing. You could go up anything in the truck. But having an actual back seat that adults can fit in is so nice. The tundra is just annoying to turn around on tight trails, other that that i just used to it.

That sounds sick dude I wish I had some solid gears and a bigger motor. I gotta climb shit in first sometimes. But yeah short trucks really can go anywhere.

You gotta move with the times I guess right though. Three people in the single cab aint too comfy.

4Runner? Did you cut the back off, looks like a Tacoma

Yeah the first gen had a removable top, a roll bar, and a tailgate. Definitely lacking in the hp department but they’re definitely the sickest gen imo

After market for off-roading/overlanding in 1st gen tundras and everyonce in a while i’ll see a crazy build on ig. My parents buddy’s back on the island in savannah have a blue double cab for towing their centerconsole and it’s sweet.

Yeah i was worried about the wheelbase on the doublecab but i just got used to it. The only annoying part is turning around on tight trails.

Joined the truck club back in May. As a basic outudoorsy-bro, I had been lusting over Tacos for like 5 years and saving up while rocking my subie. Ended up getting it new (first ever) because the used market for these is frigged and interest rates were so much better through Toyota. Mostly stock so far, added wheel decals, lifted the front 1 inch and added roadactive coils to the rear to maintain the ride height with the topper on and gear in the bed.

Already put 9k on, built out a simple bed platform in the topper for camping and did a southwest/nat park road trip in October and recently drove up from CO to Montana for the holidays, absolutely love it and I'm stoked to improve/winterize the camper for ski trips.

hell yeah brother - someone in my town has a lifted prius with high clearance bumpers and TRD stickers slapped on

Secret offroad cars are pretty cool. Last weekend I turned around on an icy road up in the mountains and later met a guy in a smart car who just drove in from the road I couldn't make it up with 4x4. This was a beast of smart cars

Ya it could wheel, was a fun rig. Motors about to blow now though so I'm replacing the truck. Got my eye on a Hilux in good shape. And putting the same camping setup on the back.

What do you mean when you say you took the grinder to your 1st gen?
