Post your progression

I learned how to 270 on to a rail last night and stomped it clean on my 2nd try without dying. Unbelievable feeling man. God I fucking love skiing.

favorite rail trick for sure

I did a nosebutter one to switch tailbutter 7 the other day and I was pretty stoked because that's a trick I've been visualizing for a while

So far this season I can almost dub and I can now throw mad sketchy switch flips. And I'll throw a flip off a rail for shiggles sometimes. Rail wise, I be gotten better over all at more technical tricks. Pretty stoked so far

After ages of ripping groomers, I got into park stuff this year. So far, I've learned safety and mute grabs, can send a sloppy 180, and 50/50 boxes. Hope to nail 3s by the end of the season, and have a pow day or two before the spring.

I finally landed a true rail slide this year. Need to get out and practice on smaller rails and jump on features but I've been busy doing a lot of big mountain riding

Stomped my first couple of real backies.

Started to get misty 5s to feet but need to land a few clean to fully claim it.

Got a couple safety slides today.

This week I learned both side backslides. I got lip to forward and switch under control. I also started learning 2s on and hit donkeys for the first time. This year alone has just been pure progression and I'm loving it.

new idea. Post any videos you have of past seasons/ earlier this season and then post something from recent so you can see the progression.

over the past couple of years i've really branched away from actually progressing myself tricks wise. I have learned how to spin onto shit, I guess i can hit some things switch now if I'm actually paying attention.

I got really drunk one day and landed 2 on with both way 2s out, the first day back after not skiing for a month so I guess that counts for something. Not much but something.

only vids i got really but learned these

Sendin' er'! That's hype! on the cork 7/5 try taking it to a bigger jump if you have access and pop harder. The bigger jump might be scarier but it's a lot easier to get the rotation right, spot your landing, get grabs, slow er' down and get used to the axis.

So far these season I got way more comfortable with cork 7s and 9s to the point where i can carve em out and throw basically any grab I want. Also learned rodeo 7s, switch rodeo 5, frontflips, oppo carve rodeo 5 with lots of grabs and switch 5s, 7s and 9s with grabs. Basically just focusing on getting grabs and cleaning stuff up. For rails i've worked on 2 ons, 3 swaps, and getting double and triple swaps with a 2 or 4 out on longer rails consistently.

Lookin to take some dubs to snow later on in the season.

Getting more comfortable with cork5/7/9s, got a superfed, Rodeo 5 bluuunt, switch 2s on with continue 2, pretz 2 and kfed.

Working on more grabs and switch stuff. Also bswaps and 2s on but always slip out fml

Kinda got into freestyle last year and learned a 50 50 and shifty. This year I got into it more and I can land a sloppy 180, and a clean railslide to fakie, and safety and mute grabs. Such a auesome feeling when you land a new trick I frickin love skiing.

So far this season I have learned switch rodeo 5, switch misty 7, 2 onto downrails, backswap back 2 and just have gotten better at tech stuff on Rails.

Yo that was straight steeze man I gotta try those this week. Been trying to get a good backslide all season and I've just eaten shit every time. I just always assumed front slides were harder so I never tried.

yea dawg biggest secret of 2k17 frontslides are easy

the biggest tip i could give is find the smoothest sliding rail in your park- this makes a big difference

commit your weight to your front foot and your golden

backslides are definitely easier (for me) especially on legit down rails and kinks. Frontlides are sketch on kinks and steep down rails

Is it progression if you are just cleaning things up. Like slowing down spins and stompin more instead of being sketch lol. Cause my threes off natural features have gotten way cleaner/slower/steezier and my backflips I don't land as back seat anymore so that's something I guess. And got back into the park just a little bit with raised rails and jib features.

YES it is. being clean/stylish is more important than the tricks you do imo. Landing a trick and landing a trick with style are night and day to me.

Finally learned 3s, 3s with grabs, a lot of new rails, a back 2, and most recently I stuck my first backflip

1st backy is always a highlight in anyones park skiing career.

I haven't learned a lot of tech tricks, just small variations of tricks I already know - front swap to backslide, lip on shifty out, lip on disaster, 50/50 to 360 out, backslide front 2 out, hand drag front 2 out.

Biggest thing is that I can finally switch on to every feature in the park. Also learned switch on backslide(steezy af).

time to learn switch tails- switch unat lip and switch unat tails :)

Last night i finally learned balance on rails properly, this is my first season sliding rails and i was basically just getting as much speed as i could and trying to slide as far as i could and falling off early. I finally slowed it down and got the wobble thing down. Because of that last night i also stomped my first downrail properly, and my first cannon rail to stairs which was scary as fuck. tonight im gonna try b270 out and maybe a steeper downrail. Might start trying to slide unnatty too.

I just got on my skies last night for the first time in two years! Fuck I was stoked, had a big stupid grin the entire time. I was worried id have lost all the progression I was finally making, but nope fuck that! Got my switch game back, 270's on and off both ways, also on and off. tomorrow im getting back change ups, 450's off and atleast gotta throw a 540 with a grab. Here's a lil video, god im so hyped for this season and the many more to come! Whoo!

So much send.

Very happy about this one. I wanted to do a 180 on but I really didn't want to fuck with a switch 50-50 (because I don't want to fall backwards and re-injure my back) so I just tried it switch. It worked out!

Been working on bringing my tricks to cliffs and pillow lines without stomping the lips out. Did sw 1 to 1 on a decent sized pillow line, sw 3 to sw 1 on a smallish pillow line, zero off a cliff, 3s, sw 3s and hand drag 3s on cliffs, backflips off natural takeoffs, and just sending in general harder
