my old vapor xxxx's finally broke

yeah i just goggled the ks scimitar and that came up, im still waiting for it to arrive

stock randall bushings and OUST moc7 bearings ive never heard of these but they had them on the KS site so i bought em

if you get new bushings, get pretty stiff ones. but make sure the front ones are stiffer than the back ones, makes carving soooooo much easier and smoother. i ride a landyachtz dropcarve with ltd edition pink randalls and seismic speedvent wheels.

what kind do you recommend im using this for commuting and my town has HUGE hills that i can go down every day after school

im about 135lbs 5'6 and still growing.

doesn't really make that much of a difference, i'd suggest you get a kit though that has all the different colors, so you can mix em up. you could have like two different colors in the front and two different ones in the back, and you can keep switching them out until you find a set up that you like. just gotta keep trying new combinations until you find one that makes riding for you feel better and smoother. it's all about preference. y'know?

Too bad they never produced the latex scarf thing outside the runway show. SUPER classy. Haha.

barrell or cone does matter. alot. Double barrels provide a more stable, less turney ride for downhill. Barrel cone combo provides more carve and nice stability. Double cone setups are super carvey but not stable at speed. Also "the colors" correspond to the Durometer of the bushings. Lower durometer means softer while a higher durometer means harder.

It's all good. Alot of people dont even realize that replacing stock bushings makes a huge difference. good to see a fellow longboarder on ns.

this. and barrel boardside, and cone roadside is the best combo, imo. it provides the most stability, while retaining that ease of carving.
