Post your first (findable) edit!

Everyone has to start somewhere, post your ABSOLUTE first edit that you can find. Unfortunately, I cannot find my true first one, but here is the closest. About two and a half years ago from a summer session that a friend and I had. Let's have some fun with this!

Haha great idea! I remember i burned my first edit to DVD to show my third grade teacher. She thought it was rad, it had a title and everything.

i can't find my very first,on a borrowed camera, here's the oldest on i could find

It's also interesting because you can really see how the standards of a good ski edit have changed so quickly. The edits that I was really inspired by and thought were mind-blowing when I first started would be considered pretty amateur by today's standards. Beginner filmers now have to learn a lot more to make their edits stand out.

not nearly as bad as this...

This was my last attempt at filming/editing until about a year and half ago.

dear lord, talk about being bad at skiing, filming, AND editing. Same trick 50 times I think

When I was in elementary school I used to steal other peoples footage off of vimeo, chop it up and get rid of the mediocre tricks, and re-edit it to my own music. Pretty lame, yea, but It was so much fun!
I think Evan Heath's "Dirt!" edit was my first victim. Funny thing is, it ended up getting 20,000 views on youtube, more than evan's OG cut. I realized about a year later that it was a pretty disrespectful thing to do so I took it down. I don't think evan will ever forgive me :(
This is my first findable edit with skiers, but I know I made one or two of myself on my old summer set up, and then one that was entirely 120fps shots of snowboarders. My little HDR-CX100 was a tank... I miss it

haha talk about some throwbacks. this is my first video i ever edited and put on youtube. it was for a class project my junior year in high school...super awesome special effects in here too
