We were heading out to Steamboat and decided to ski Loveland on the way out- We got there in a wierd storm where it went from white out to minor snow like every 3 seconds- around 12 as we were getting ready to head to Steamboat someone asid they were going to close the eisenhower cause it was snowing so hard- we skied as fast as possible got to the bottom- got through the tunnel and like 20 cars later they closed it- and to top it all off powder in 'boat for 2 days and sun for 3- made for epic park/powder

Mine was the first time i learned how to ski. Its a very long story but its worth it but seeing as NS is full of lazy bastards ill Cliff Notes it for you.

-20 plus windchill, Tahoe wouldnt shift out of 1st gear on as freeway. Waking up one day to go in the car having no clue where im going. Not knowing what state i was in 3/4 of the time. and hiking up the mountain at like 1 in the morning and getting yelled at by thre guys in the cat

My favorite moment is every time I ski pow and I stop at the bottom of the face or whatever and I am out of breath because I couldn't breathe the whole way down.

i dont like skiing when i fight with my bro over something while skiing- but then im like fuck him-im going skiing

I was hanging out with an instructor at New Years, and my techniques not great, but we were just heading back into town, and he was showing off, with little tricks and jumping off the edges and stuff, so I started to do the same, and all the way down this motorway red we were doing this....can't describe it but it was really fun......

probably in february when i went to whistler, and i was skiing with 3 of my best friends and was killing all the shit there and just having lots of fun... fun is always good.

probably when I went to Quebec with some friends. It was pretty awsome the conditoins were perfect and seeing as im from the really shitty part of the east coast it was the most vertical we had ever skied so it was lots of fun !!

December. Got up early and caught the first chair on Friday after it dumped all week. Hiked from the notch at Tye Mill up the ridge to the Tye summit of Cowboy Mountain. I followed a patrollers steps for a while, but then they tuned off, so I continued up to the top. Up top it was frosty, total bluebird. Best pic I can find that looked like it:

(I think that was actually taken at Stevens Pass too)

Anyways, stomped out a pad at the top, took a breather and then stepped in. There is a tiny mini-bowl (like 60 feet across, really just a rock bowl) at the top that has a 30 foot cornice drop to it. The drop looked sketch, but I spotted a pillow drop right under it to one side... they totally collapsed when I landed on them, but I got three turns in the small bowl and then blasted out onto 1000 feet of pristine powder. No tracks until I hit someones traverse halfway down. I was airing off anything I could spot, sooooo deep and luscious.

And the other time was the night skiing adventure my friend and I had. We got in a car accident and it took us 5 hours to get home, but the snow was absolutely redic. Our tracks were getting covered with 2 inches every run and it just didnt stop the entire night. And we were like the only people up there too... that was mad fun.

I'm at squaw valley with my whole family skiing these shitty flat blue runs down the mountain and I'm so bored. My brother and mom go inside the lodge to rest and my dad and I head up the KT-22 lift. Were going to ski a nice shot when we pass by this rope ladder leading up an almost vertical rock ledge/cliff. Its windy as fuck and we have no idea were it goes and I'm just like fuck it, I'm skiing it. So my dad says I'll meet you at the bottom and I head up (by the way theres two other guys hiking up it) I head up there, its almost impossible to hike and I finally get to the top. Theres the fucking steepest fucking slope I have ever seen with rocks and shit, it was seriously fucking crazy. The other two guys head down the ridge to find something less difficult. I spend like 10 minutes just getting my skis on in like 4 ft of powder and I'm ready to go. I drop into the face and the fucking whole slope starts sliding down. I skid a little bit and make a hop turn. I got into a rythem and had the best run of my life.

that's awesome, i always pussy out if there's no one else around

for me the best times are skiing with friends and family. which is like every time so..

i skipped school with my bro my friend, and my dad. It turned out to be the best powder day of the year. not only was it sunny but since it was a school day there was nobody on the mountain. My other brother went to school to go to a math competition. he missed out.

first time skiing utah powder. the day before, our first day in utah, I got redicously sick, so I had to spend the whole day sitting in the condo looking at the mountains and wishing I was skiing. It snowed about a foot overnight, and I got up the next morning, puked, then asked my parents where we were going skiing that day. we ended up at deer valley and my brother and I hiked around different spots and found this untouched bowl. right up there as one of the best runs of my entire life. I threw up at the bottom of it cause I was still sick/super hardcore.

New Years day, my mountian had one trail open and it was raining...I told the only ski partoller on duty that i was going to hike the park and build a jump, and maybe set up a rail. He said "here, take a radio and call if you need anything" We spent 7 straight hours hiking a jump in the rain...it was truly a great day

last year march 2nd at Jay was a pretty epic day. ive gotta thank a lot of the public for not skiing beaver pond that day cus the tram and flyer were closed. i couldn't breathe the whole way down it was soo deep. did that all day

everyday that i havnt hurt myself

i love those days wen i throw down in a comp against a bunch of the freestyle fags and completely kill it

it was last season, and i had just got down these huge cork- like three sixtys. i was still alittle skech on them though. there was this big air comp and i entered like always. the jump was supposed to be this 5 foot tall kicker with a like 35 foot gap or so. i was like alright ill PROBABLY 3 this. but one of the better skiers at my mountain hit acouple times or so. they said it was horrible. so they moved it to this bigger jump on the park. this was a like five foot tall kiker and a 40-45 foot gap. i had never threed it before. so my run comes and i go down and throw this ridiculusly clean three. i ended up comeing in third place it was a awesome time

well in my place we dont have any backcountry or powder but my favourite time was being at the place on a perfect bluebird day where it was maybe -4 C and just lapping through the park making tracks everytime.

Crystal mountain 2 years ago. My friend, dad and I hiked out to South Back and got first fucking tracks on a powder day. It was so fucking deep, amazing and epic.
