Dude it was fuckin crazy-good yesterday. I forgot how fun powbumps are. Groomers were soft again and there was soo much chunder to charge. Poma was decent. It felt amazing to slash-pow in May again.

Idk why I opened Instagram today. I haven't posted in years and only maintain an account so I can open links people send me.

OK so A basin posted about their upcoming "gay day" and while I know Instagram comment sections are the pits these days, it's unreal to see people come out of the woodwork to complain. Holy cow. All I care about is skiing. If they wanna throw a party that makes it more fun with more stuff at the base, sweet. Allegedly tolerant people seem to always get so butt hurt when their ideals aren't followed.

the people that say theres a shit ton of fragile snowflakes are the same ones that can’t handle a day of rainbows at an isolated area at a ski resort.

don't like having this creep ass shit being pushed in my face while I'm tryna ski. sugarbush does this so i just ski at mad river that weekend, which is a way better mountain and doesn't have pride weekend.

why does how someone else dresses make you uncomfortable lil timmy? its really not being pushed in your face just because its a weekend event. you would have to actively seek it out and go to those areas at that specific time for it to have any impact. and get this, they would welcome you and respect your boundaries. no one is gonna try and fuck you. at most they will see how you look at them, see the judgement and insecurity in your eyes and move on with their lives. toughen up young buck. let em be free

yeah that makes me feel very uncomfortable. it's extremely perverted and it disturbs me. also it's in the courtyard for the whole day, I knew that you tards would say you have to "Actively seek it out", which is just a lie and you know it. sorry but I hate freaks and don't like to see them! One time I saw a big brown bear and that made me uncomfortable but I stayed away and didn't bother it, it didn't bother me. Now a bear could really ruin my day but I didn't let it. Those pride supporters are not able to ruin your day like a bear could, but you are letting them. This harm "they" are doing, you are actually doing to yourself. Ignore it and move on, it's not like they actually are preaching lgbt right up in your face. You may not understand their views, but you don't have to understand to be a respectful human

as i get older and hear people talk about loosing their drive for skiing, i always wonder if it will happen to me. but with how every off season just seems to hurt even more i can’t see it happening soon. grateful

The only thing that does it to me is long stretches of consecutive injuries, but every time I heal up I'm insatiable again

Backflips for me are just a confidence booster. I know I can land them, but they scare me every time. So I throw a backflip, land it, and now I've gotten over my fear and I can be more confident to try bigger tricks.

i don't have a giro but assuming the dial fit system is the same or similar to the BOA fit system in my Smith helmet, it's sooo sick dude. being able to micro-adjust whenever you want is amazing

lots of wax, or ideally it's really cold and you can get water frozen on it. wax effectiveness will depend how rough the concrete is to start, of course

Rub brick and lacquer it to prep beforehand, lots of wax day of. If it’s cold enough you can ice it too. Look up how to rub brick a ledge on YouTube
