Changes in how lighting and color are used is definitely a major factor. I also think that the cameras being used these days are doing a disservice as well and make the sets look too much like obvious sets.

Easy way to see this is watch one of the new Law & Order episodes compared to the old ones. Old ones look like they're actually in a building while the new stuff just looks like a bad set

I hate how movies and tv these days are so dark. If you watch any show or movie from the 1990s there is so much color and contrast, it’s pretty great just to look at. A lot of movies these days are so dark you gotta squint to see clearly. It sux I just want to see more monty python style movies

still plenty of good shows being put out, rare for them to stay good for their entire run though. Usually get 2 or 3 good seasons and then they tank but its always been that way.
 
My stupid ass foil flipped and punched a hole in to my wing. I hope it's fixable because I do not have the will or money to buy another 700-1000€ toy.
 
Building lifts has been great so far. Luckily i got in with a chill crew and a not massive lift. I think its been a great opportunity to make real money, be in the ski industry, and likely ski most of the winter.

I’ve been inactive for a while but I’m loving life. Moved across the country for a new career, best decision I’ve ever made. Life is so good, I love my job and I get up everyday excited for it. I’m gonna get to ski some real mountains this winter, no more of that Ohio shit. Life is good, just felt like sharing.

Tbh I never heard anyone I knew say NorCal or Socal, we usually would say the whole word or some other geographic signifier like gold country, foothills and other shit

No social media at all - no group chats, If i want to talk to someone I text or call.

Life is better without that Social Media BS IMO.

I honestly enjoy weed way more with a little tolerance, I can't focus or relax when I get too zooted and that happens everytime when my tolerance is low

Clutch hydraulics went out this weekend and I have to drive to Seattle on Wednesday. The parts are supposed to get here Tuesday. If they don't or this doesn't fix the problem, I'm so hosed. The fix shouldn't take too long, but we all know how an hour can turn into several. If it doesn't work, i probably will have to pay hundreds of dollars for plane tickets and rental vehicles that I was not planning on spending. I really want my car to work fine. Pls pls pls
 
Little Italy is cool. San Diego ain’t too shabby but I’m not really a beach person, myself. I love Northern California though. Those big trees and the mountains are gorgeous.

yes it is. im lucky to where my parents don't actually let me have it. i use it in secret (sowwy parents) but that means i usually end up getting on once every 4 days, i would waste so much of my life if i had it on my phone.

also no way in HELL i got a 4 on AP chem. so ig im happy about that. cant say im proud because i don't think i put the work in i shouldve but still passed ig.

I'm so down bad for this girl I work with and idk what to do.

Backstory: I met her about a month and a half ago during training for our seasonal job and ever since then we've been hanging out a lot, we've gotten to know each other super well, and our personalities always seem like they're on the same wavelength. We always have a ton of fun together and she's given me some signs that make me think she's also interested, but she got out of long term healthy relationship like two months ago so I've been treading carefully. I haven't made a move on her or asked her out yet because I didn't want to come on too strong and a lot of my friends that I've asked for advice have told me to wait it out, but I think about her all the time and I really want to just tell her how I feel. I just don't know if I should continue to wait and play it cool or not because I don't want to wait too long, but I also don't want to make things awkward between us if I just admit the way I feel about her.
